About Rob

Rob grew us in Augusta, GA, home of the Masters golf tournament. This influenced his career in the golf world. After college at Furman University, Rob helped to build the golf course at Holly Tree Country Club in Simpsonville, South Carolina. This led to his becoming part of the golf professional team in the club, under the leadership of John Gerring, once the national PGA golf professional of the year, now the head golf professional at Biltmore Forest Country Club.

Then Rob had the opportunity to move north to the Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio (where Jack Nicklaus grew up) where he continued his career as a golf professional, teaching and playing under the tuteleage of Walker Inman, a national golf professional of the year.

The following years were spent in the golf business representing golf companies, including a decade with Titlest Golf Company.

Rob acquired his Real Estate license in 1986, buying and selling real estate of his own. In 2007 Rob settled in Waynesville, NC. Having called on the golf shops in the area since 1980, Rob has thorough personal knowledge of the WNC region.
